Roof Geometry
The predominate roof shape, that which is greater of 50% of the elevation determines roof geometry. Structures that are not structurally attached to the main roof system are not considered. Roof geometry determines the aerodynamic pressure loads experienced by the roof due to wind flow and win direction. When a roof has more than one geometry, the predominate roof shape, that is which greater than 50% of the elevation, should be selected for that elevation. Structures that are not structurally attached to the main roof system are not considered.
